The Plaud Pin and Desktop App are truly wonderfully designed. From the moment I unboxed the pin, I could tell a lot of thought had gone into its design: the magnetic attachment methods were remarkably secure and enabled the pin to fit anywhere on my person. The same mechanism makes it impossible to misalign the contact pads with the pins during charging, and the keychain hook makes the pin remarkably transportable. The AI integration is top-notch and offers a tremendous amount of functionality, and I've found the mind map + markdown export surprisingly useful (e.g. loading the markdown into Gemini and using it with Canvas enables a very sharable and useful tool to navigate longer conversations). I'm usually very ho-hum about most products I buy these days, but I've gone out of my way to talk up the Plaud Pin. Good job, everyone!

Just like the Plaud Note, the product quality is excellent. The record start/stop button feels a bit unresponsive at times, but this might be a trade-off to prevent accidental activation. As a request for future models - though I understand there might be design and waterproofing challenges - I'd love to see a direct USB-C charging port built into the device itself.

I ultimately purchased this to complement having the Note. I found that periodically I didn't have the Note attached to my phone and having the ability to wear the Pin makes for a "set it and forget it" situation where I put it on first thing in the morning and then I just roll through meeting after meeting. I have been pleased with the quality of the transcriptions and AI generated notes and reports.

This little gadget is a gem. So easy to incorporate into a clinic day. The ability to make voice notes on the go that can be turned into succinct, well formatted, text notes is a game changer. Can't wait to see how this evolves into something even better. A great start would be the addition of a better search tool to make it easier and faster to find and use templates.

We have been supporting Plaud since the Kickstarter process for the desktop phone unit, then the smartphone recorder, and then the Plaud Pin (which I use with all of my appointments). No more asking my client to wait while I make notes during the meeting, but instead the Plaud AI not only accurately transcribes the audio captured but also produces a summary and actions required.

Suppose you are looking for the ability to record meeting notes. In that case, the Plaud Pin is perfect, and being able to purchase additional chargers (at an affordable price point) makes our usability of the Plaud Pin that much more. If I could give 6 star’s I would!

Very helpful in my daily life

This is where the Notepin stands out. When paired with the PLAUD app and its integration with OpenAI's ChatGPT, users can convert audio into highly accurate, structured notes or summaries. The transcription quality is excellent—even for conversations with multiple speakers—making post-meeting documentation effortless.

I love taking notes, but I don't often capture them all. It is easy to have video meetings recorded, but in-person ones were always a challenge. PLAUD has changed that, and I feel confident that I capture everything I need in every meeting I have!

I never leave him without my Plaud Pin these days. Having a discrete recording device on you is extremely useful, because you do not know when you’ll be pulled into conversations where note taking is a necessity. The AI understanding of the notes are accurate. Please keep working on this and improving it. Well worth every cent.

I have been using this device when I wanted a transcript from different encounters to review later. I especially like it when I go to the doctor, which has proven helpful since not everything gets put in the summaries the medical providers write up at the end of their day. I use it when I am speaking to mechanics working on my car. I almost gave it 4 stars, as I would like to make notes to myself when certain ideas come up while I am out and about, and I don't seem to be able to do this. While you could use it to do this, it would make a recording for that moment, but I would get discrete individual recordings. I would like to have them all in one place (file). I am hoping that Plaud adds such an ability at some point, but there are phone apps I can use now until then. I have not tried to see how well the device would work if it was in my pocket (it looks odd holding your phone during a conversation with someone). I will try that soon.

I initially bought the Pin to use at conferences, but had the opportunity to use it in another setting. It was an onsite meeting in a large conference room with about 20 people. The Plaud was positioned in the the middle of the room and did a tremendous job picking up the audio from across the room from various speakers. It was able to capture the points and consolidate them. Well worth the money.

Love my plaud, it keeps me up in things and is always with me. The transcription and summary tech is seriously impressive.

Helps so much for meetings. Captures all the points and organizes into a useful document. Points out action items and suggests unclear or outstanding items.

اقدر لكم جهدكم وعملكم المتفاني تقييمي هو ٥ نجوم بلا شك ، ولكنني اتمنى في المنتجات القادمة ان نرى شيئا مثل Plaud note pin بشكل خاتم ذو مظهر خفيف جدا على اليد ولا يكون ملفت للنظر او على شكل حلق مغناطيسي في الاذن وان لا يكون مظهرهم كبير او ملفت للنظر ابدا .
وك العادة نتطلع لقوة مايك واداء اقوى رغم ان الاداء لا غبار عليه حاليا .

واذا اردت ان ابالغ في الفكرة اريد ان يكون هناك مايك لسماع التسجيل او توجيهه الى شخص ما ويستطيع فقط الشخص الموجه عليه ان يستمع محتوى التسجيل
